Our School
Spondeo Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten was founded in 2010 with six students in one primary classroom. Today, we offer Infant, Toddler, and Primary environments for children ages two months old to six years old.
Our mission
Spondeo Montessori School endeavors to create the best environment to support the development of the whole child into productive and creative members of the classroom, their family, and the global community. To this end, Spondeo strives to design a curriculum based on the Montessori teaching method that will help the child:
- Develop a positive self-concept
- Develop an intrinsic motivation to learn
- Demonstrate respect for self, others and the environment
- Practice positive communication and conflict resolution skills
- Exercise self-discipline and self-control
- Increase concentration, coordination, fine motor and gross motor skills
- Develop personal autonomy
- Increase intellectual abilities
- Discover and appreciate other cultures and their traditions
Our philosophy
Spondeo continues to create an exceptional environment that supports and nurtures all children’s innate love of learning using the methods of education developed by Dr. Maria Montessori.
Reflecting a deep commitment to Dr. Montessori’s philosophy, our experienced teachers guide students in developing strong self-images, with the confidence to face life’s challenges and the motivation to become lifelong learners and leaders.
Today, our well-established campus is complete with six classrooms, children’s growing gardens, a splashpad, outdoor prepared environments, and playgrounds; ideal for the development of the whole child – physically, intellectually and emotionally.
