Originally from Buena Park, California, Evelyn moved to Sonora, Mexico during her middle school years where she became fluent in Spanish. In 1993, Evelyn moved back to the States, this time settling in Arizona where she has resided in both Mesa and Gilbert.

Evelyn graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 with Bachelor’s degrees in both Management and Marketing.  She has held several corporate positions during her career in marketing, accounting, and as an administrative assistant and enjoys using the skills she has gained to help Spondeo continue to improve its operational processes to better serve our students and their families.

Evelyn joined Spondeo Montessori in 2013 as an Assistant Teacher in Room 2, Before School, After School, and during Summer Programs, and currently serves as our Assistant Director.  At Spondeo, Evelyn wears many hats including event coordinator, accounting & billing, and Summer Program coordinator.

Mother to three daughters, ages 11 and twins age 9, all alumni of Spondeo Preschool, and wife to her husband of 17 years, Evelyn can always be found spending her free time with her family either hiking, traveling, cooking, or enjoying a good movie. Through personal experience with her own children, Evelyn is passionate about early childhood intervention for challenges children face such as speech, sensory processing, and social/emotional behaviors and is a strong proponent of meeting the educational and social/emotional needs of gifted children.  Evelyn is always willing to share her personal experiences and lend an ear to families facing the same challenges.
